Holiday home In de Polder is a cosy family home, quietly located in part of a converted, thatched, monumental Zeeland farm barn less than ten minutes cycling time from the Veerse Meer lake and the cycle ferry to Veere. The North Sea beach at Banjaard/Kamperland can be reached in ten minutes by car.
House layout.
Through the shared front door, you enter the holiday home In de Polder in the living room with sitting area, dining area and an open kitchen with, among other things, a dishwasher and combioven/magnetron. Through the sliding doors at the side of the house, you can walk out onto the terrace and enjoy panoramic views over the fields. On the ground floor is a bedroom with two single box-spring beds and a bathroom with bath and washbasin. There is also a separate toilet on the ground floor. The stairs in the living room take you to the first floor where there are two more bedrooms, both with 2 box-spring beds and one with a cot. Here is also the second bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet. There is only a stair gate on the first floor, not on the ground floor.
You share the entrance with other guests. However, you have sufficient privacy, because the terraces are on different sides of the barn and you also have your own parking space on your own side. There is a shed where you can leave your bicycles (shared use).
The house is very suitable for staying with children because there is plenty of space to play around the house, there is a trampoline and there are go-karts for shared use. There are also all kinds of animals in the immediate area, such as chickens, peacocks and deer. The holiday home is located on large grounds and the owner lives in a house at the front of the plot.
Via the dike, you can walk to the cosy village of Kamperland in fifteen minutes. Here you will find all kinds of nice shops, several restaurants, a beer brewery and supermarkets. The nearby Veerse Meer lake is particularly popular with water sports enthusiasts, divers and fishermen. You can sunbathe on the lake shore and (small) children can play happily at the water's edge. It is also a lovely place to go swimming after a day of cycling, relaxing at the house or shopping.
Holiday home In de Polder is a fine family house, in a quiet area a short distance from the beach. We recommend the house for families who love the outdoors and want to enjoy themselves, possibly together with, for example, grandparents, in a comfortable and cosy house and also for people who want to take lovely bike rides from here.
